Have you made your New Year’s resolutions yet? Perhaps you have been asked this so much that want to just change the subject or laugh it off. Take more trips! You don’t even have to travel far to enjoy the RV lifestyle. In California, we are a bit spoiled; we can travel a short distance to the beach, mountains, desert or ocean. Unconnect and Reconnect
With today’s hectic family schedules and busy lifestyles, it can be really overwhelming trying to get in a 2-week vacation. Between work, shuffling the kids to and from dance practice, soccer practice, baseball & football games, it seems like everyone is going in different directions. A weekend get-away or a mini-trip RVcation might be just right for you. In fact, you can take lots of mini-trips throughout the year. It’s time to unconnect from the crazy schedules and reconnect with your family and the great outdoors.
Explore, Explore, Explore
Every year you should go somewhere you have never gone before. Many times, we like to go the same places we did last year. While there is nothing wrong with that, it’s great to add a new destination to your travels and explore new places. Not sure where to go? Make Friends – Meet New People
RVers are a great group of social people. Everyone in the campground is doing the same thing you are, enjoying the journey! They love to travel and share their experiences and adventures with other campers. Next time you are walking around your campground instead of just waving and saying hello, strike up a conversation. Campgrounds are a great place to make new friends and you can easily keep those connections alive on your social media. You never know, you may be in the campsite next to your new friends on a future adventure.

Is your New Year’s resolution to get in or stay in shape? RVing and getting healthy in the great outdoors is perfect. Once your set up at camp, run laps around the RV, find a trail and go for a run/hike, swim at the beach/lake. Being outdoors there are many ways to be active.
